I'm Cortnie

I started out as a second shooter for my mother, a wedding photographer, when I was 13. As a teenager, my love for photography exploded.

I started shooting portraits on my own in 2016, and quickly began expanding my portfolio other types of photography and videography. By the end of the next year, my portfolio had doubled in size. I won a few regional awards for student photographers, and even created a promotional video for a dentistry. The following year, I spent most of my free time expanding my portfolio, even clocking over 250 hours on just a single video project.

I found a passion for capturing stories through a lens that never left me. Now in my early 20s, I’ve gained experience working with seniors, editorials, expecting parents, musicians, businesses, couples, and more. However, I’m always looking for new avenues to expand my portfolio and capture new stories and places.

At the end of 2022, I relocated from Kansas to Colorado. When I’m not working, I can usually be found binging movies with my partner, playing with my dog, Stark, or exploring for new places and restaurants.
